


A fire that broke out this morning (November 1) at Petronas Tower 3 (Menara Carigali) in Kuala Lumpur was brought under control swiftly by emergency services.
The fire originated at a restaurant located on the 57th floor of the 60-storey commercial building. Authorities were alerted around 6:40 am, and videos quickly circulated showing thick smoke rising from the top.
Firefighters arrived within 10 minutes and effectively utilized the tower’s internal safety systems, including fire hoses and wet risers, to battle the blaze.
Crucially, the fire was brought under control by 7:04 am a time frame of just 24 minutes after the alert. It was completely extinguished by 8:45 am. Authorities confirmed that no casualties were reported. The restaurant is temporarily closed as the cause of the incident remains under investigation.
