Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have reportedly revived their friendship in recent years with meeting privately to reconnect after years of estrangement following their 2005 divorce.
The former couple, married from 2000 to 2005 reportedly grew close again after a chance encounter at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards. According to a new report, they continued meeting privately while Aniston filmed the second season of The Morning Show.
A source told the Daily Mail that Pitt would visit the set weekly, having private lunches with Aniston in her trailer before leaving once filming resumed. Only a few crew members were reportedly aware of the visits.
Another source said the pair also spent time together outside the set and mostly at Aniston's home also careful to avoid being seen together publicly.
Sources close to Pitt say the renewed friendship carried no romantic undertone. He reportedly missed having Aniston as a trusted confidante and valued reconnecting away from public attention. One source said Aniston remains someone Pitt feels he can fully trust, and that reconnecting with her was among his best decisions.
Since their divorce, Pitt was married to and later divorced Angelina Jolie and is now in a relationship with Ines de Ramon. Aniston who was married to Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2018 is currently dating Jim Curtis.
