Film-Star and glamour figure Pori Moni has once again become the subject of discussion and criticism, this time due to her choice of attire while inaugurating a beauty parlor in Narsingdi.

Pori Moni attended the opening of a beauty salon in Narsingdi recently. She appeared in a green-colored, deep-neck gown.

Pictures and videos of the event circulated widely on social media, prompting strong reactions from netizens. Many criticized her "open-to-face" presence in a public crowd, stating that such attire is not permissible in a public setting.

Pori Moni is currently more engaged in opening various showrooms and businesses than she is in film shooting.

The Narsingdi incident follows a previous instance where she generated discussion for her appearance while inaugurating a gold shop in Dhaka's Bashundhara area. Her presence at such ceremonies is noted as a regular occurrence.

Despite the focus on her personal life and appearances, her film career continues. Her film 'Dodor Story' is awaiting release, and her new political thriller, 'Golap', is set to begin shooting in the new year. Directed by Samsul Huda and scripted by Anik Biswas, 'Golap' is based on the political realities of a small town.
