CMP Briefs Force to Ensure Peaceful National Election and Referendum

The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) conducted a briefing parade at the Dampara Police Lines on Saturday to ensure the security and integrity of the upcoming 13th National Assembly Election and Referendum 2026.

Presiding over the event, CMP Commissioner Hasib Aziz issued detailed instructions to officers and personnel regarding their duties. He emphasized the need for honesty, dedication, and professional conduct to guarantee a peaceful and fair voting environment.

The Commissioner also stressed the importance of seamless coordination between the police, RAB, BGB, Ansar, and other law enforcement agencies to maintain order throughout the election period.

The parade was attended by senior CMP officials, including Additional Police Commissioner Wahidul Haque Chowdhury, Additional Police Commissioner Muhammad Faisal Ahmed, and several Deputy Police Commissioners recently promoted to the rank of Additional DIG.
