


Bogura-6 (Sadar) MP Rezaul Karim Badsha has urged citizens and professionals to set aside political differences and unite for the district's comprehensive development.
Speaking as the chief guest at the Bogura Press Club’s general meeting on Friday, Badsha emphasized the vital role of the media in regional progress. "Whatever our political ideologies we must stand on a unified platform for Bogura's advancement. Objective responsible journalism can significantly accelerate this momentum" he stated.
During the session the MP proposed updating the club’s constitution to ensure a more democratic framework. He also called for an annual photo exhibition every July to honor the martyrs of the July Mass Uprising pledging a personal donation of BDT 2 lakh to support the club's initiatives.
Daily Karatoa Editor Mozammel Haque Lalu echoed the call for progress, urging journalists to champion the long-standing public demand to upgrade Bogura into a full-fledged administrative division.
The meeting chaired by Press Club President Rezaul Hasan Ranu and conducted by General Secretary Kalam Azad concluded with members unanimously approving decisions on constitutional amendments audit procedures and professional skill enhancement.
