Prime Minister Tarique Rahman called for an end to "confusing politics" and urged a focus on concrete development during a massive public rally at Altafunnessa Playground on Monday.

He accused opposition groups of attempting to mislead the public without offering viable plans for healthcare, governance, or women's empowerment.

"History shows these groups have repeatedly misled the people, but the public is now aware," the Prime Minister stated. He emphasized that his administration is prioritizing job creation for the youth, both domestically and through low-cost overseas employment opportunities currently under negotiation with several countries.

Reflecting on the mass uprising of August 5, 2024, the Prime Minister credited the student-led movement for ending authoritarian rule. He reaffirmed his commitment to the "July Charter" and a 31-point reform agenda aimed at ensuring transparency and public mandate-driven governance.

The rally capped a day of intensive development activities. Earlier, the Prime Minister launched the excavation of the Choukirdah Canal in Bagbari to combat waterlogging and boost agricultural yields.

The newly constructed Bogura District Bar Association building. Implementation of the e-bail bond system to modernize the judiciary. Launch of Bogura City Corporation development projects. Distribution of family and farmer cards in Gabtoli.

The Prime Minister also inaugurated the new Bogura Press Club building, promising continued support for journalists and the freedom of the press.
