To foster innovative thinking among students, the Padma Event Management Farm Education Corner (PEMFEC) National Science Festival-2026 was held on Friday morning at the Ishan Memorial Hall of Faridpur High School.

Organized in partnership with Padma Event Management Farm and Ha-Meem Group, the festival drew students, teachers, and guardians from across the district.

Abul Kalam Azad, Director of Ha-Meem Group and Channel 24, and Publisher of Daily Samakal, attended as the chief guest. Mohammad Nurul Islam, Principal of Chandrapara Degree College, chaired the session, which was moderated by PEMFEC General Secretary S.M. Al-Amin.

Prominent local figures, including Faridpur Welfare Forum President Col. (Retd.) Farooq Ya Azam and Faridpur High School Headmaster Md. Siddiqur Rahman, joined as special guests alongside local educators and civic leaders.

Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted the festival's crucial role in inspiring students toward science-based education and research. They emphasized the need for regular, community-level science initiatives to build a technology-driven, analytical future generation.

The core of the event featured a 40-minute competitive written test. Fifty students from various regional schools participated. Following the evaluation, six top-performing students across two categories (A and B) were awarded honorary crests for their outstanding results.
