Three Bodies Recovered from Teknaf Hills in Cox’s Bazar

Police recovered the bodies of three men from a remote hilly area in North Shilkhali, Bahar Chara Union, on Tuesday morning.

The deceased have been identified as Aminul Islam Robi (19), son of Ruhul Amin; Mujibur Rahman (38), son of the late Nurul Kabir; and Nur Bashar (20), son of the late Nurul Islam. All three were residents of the local area.

According to Ruhul Amin, father of the victim Aminul, local laborers discovered the bodies covered in blood while going to work in the East Para hills around 9:00 AM. Residents subsequently alerted the authorities and assisted in moving the bodies.

Durjoy Sarkar, In-charge of the Shamlapur Police Outpost, confirmed the recovery. "We reached the scene immediately upon receiving the information. The bodies are currently in police custody, and further legal action will be taken following a thorough investigation," he stated.
