


A local charitable organisation in Bheramara has distributed mosquito nets to mosques for use during funeral rites.
Shamsuddin-Mahmuda Trust handed over the nets to support the bathing and preparation of deceased persons, aiming to improve hygiene and dignity during last rites.
The distribution programme was held on Thursday at the residence of journalist Wahid Ahmed Ujjal, near GK No. 2 Colony in Bheramara upazila.
Speaking at the event, Trust Member Secretary and senior journalist Wahid Ahmed Ujjal said the organisation works with a focus on humanity, social service and charity.
He added that the trust has been involved in various welfare activities, including financial assistance and distribution of livestock and other essentials among the needy.
