


National University (NU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah led the university community in paying tribute to the language martyrs in the early hours of Saturday, February 21.
Accompanied by Pro-Vice-Chancellors Professor Md. Lutfar Rahman and Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, along with Treasurer Professor Dr. ATM Zafrul Azam, the Vice-Chancellor placed floral wreaths at the Central Shaheed Minar. The ceremony included senior deans, faculty members, and students.
Tributes were also paid at the Memorial Tower on the university's main campus in Gazipur. To mark the day, the national and university flags were flown at half-mast, and black flags were hoisted at the Gazipur campus, the Dhanmondi city office, and all regional centers. Faculty and staff wore black badges as a sign of mourning and respect.
The National University administration confirmed that similar programs were held with due solemnity across all affiliated colleges and regional centers nationwide.
