Pabna Chhatra Dal Holds Torch Procession Protesting Zubayed Killing

Leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal in Pabna city staged a torch procession on Sunday night (October 20) to protest the "brutal killing" of Md. Zubayed Hossain, a convening committee member of Jagannath University Chhatra Dal.

To condemn the murder of Zubayed Hossain in the capital's Armanitola area. The procession circumambulated various roads in Pabna city. Numerous leaders and activists from the district, college, and police station levels of Chhatra Dal took part, led by Rezwan Hossain Hridoy, former General Secretary of Pabna Sadar Municipality Chhatra Dal.

At the conclusion of the procession, speakers strongly condemned the murder, labeling it as a "planned" killing of a young student leader. They demanded justice for the murder and the quick arrest and exemplary punishment of the killers.

Speakers claimed the country's student community is suffering from insecurity, facing attacks, lawsuits, and murders for protesting. Chhatra Dal leaders warned of launching a "tough movement across the country" if the murder is not properly investigated.
