Shalikha police station officer-in-charge Md. Oli Mia said a motorcyclist and a pedestrian died on the spot in the collision between a motorcycle and a latter. The bodies were recovered and sent to Magura Sadar Hospital. The accident took place on Tuesday (October 7th) night in Satna Furia village of Talkhri union of the upazila.
The deceased were identified as Abu Huraira (22) and an unidentified pedestrian. Abu Huraira was the son of Baker Biswas of Chaturbaria village in Shalikha. Another person, Rifat Biswas (18), was injured in the incident. He was admitted to Magura 250-bed hospital.
Police are trying to identify the unidentified man. Vehicles involved in the accident have been seized.
