Preparation meeting held for the Great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day in Paikgachha

A preparation meeting was held in Paikgachha, Khulna, to mark the celebration of the Great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day. The Upazila administration organized this preparation meeting at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Wednesday morning, February 18.

The meeting, chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury, was attended by Upazila Agriculture Officer Krishibid Ekramul Hossain, Animal Resources Officer Dr. Partha Pratim Roy, Secondary Education Officer Shahjahan Ali Sheikh, Upazila BNP Convener Dr. Abdul Majid, Municipality BNP President Aslam Parvez, Principal Utpal Kumar Bain, Head Teacher Abdul Wahab, Debashish Sardar, Upazila Education Officer Bidyut Ranjan Saha, Election Officer Bazlur Rashid, Social Service Officer Anath Kumar Biswas, ICT Officer Abdus Samad, Ansar and VDP Officer Morium Akhter, Food Controller Hasibur Rahman, Statistics Officer Kabirul Islam, SI Atiqur Rahman, SFDF Officer GM Zakaria, Senior Officer of Palli Sanchay Bank Jayanto Ghosh, Freedom Fighter Ranjit Sarkar, BM Anisur Rahman, Acting UP Chairman Sheikh Khorsheduzzaman, Abul Hashem, Dilip Kumar. Mandal, Field Assistant Ranbir Sarkar, BNP leader Tushar Kanti Mandal, Advocate Saifuddin Suman, Jamaat leader Lecturer Abdul Momin Sana, Journalist Md. Abdul Aziz, Journalist Prakash Ghosh Bidhan and Purna Chandra Mandal, General Secretaries of Ulama Dal Shafiqul Islam, Jamilur Rahman Rana and Ariful Islam.

The meeting decided to celebrate the great Martyrs' Day and International Mother Language Day with due dignity on February 21 through various programs including paying tributes, organizing discussion meetings, drawing and writing competitions.
