BARI Hosts Training on 'Creative and Systematic Thinking for Innovative Agricultural Research'

A specialized training workshop titled "Creative and Systematic Thinking for Innovative Agricultural Research" was held in the seminar room of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) on December 8, 2025. The event was jointly organized by BARI and CMIT.

The training was presided over by Dr. Muhammad Ataur Rahman, Director of Training and Communication at BARI.

Dr. Md. Abdullah Yusuf Akhand, Director General of BARI, attended as the Chief Guest and delivered the welcome speech, highlighting the importance of the topic for advancing the sector.

Special guests included: •Dr. Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, Director (Service and Supply) of BARI. •Dr. T. S. Amjad Babu, Agricultural Economist from CMIT - Bangladesh.

The session saw the participation of 25 scientists from various centers and departments within BARI. The proceedings were coordinated by Dr. Md. Imran Khan Chowdhury, Senior Scientific Officer (Training and Communication Wing).

The focus of the training was on enhancing the creative and systematic approaches used by agricultural researchers to foster more innovative outputs.
