Nasir Uddin Chowdhury re-elected as director of Chattogram Stock Exchange

Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury has been re-elected as a director of Chattogram Stock Exchange PLC (CSE). He is also the managing director of LankaBangla Securities Limited.

This information was given in a press release sent by CSE on Thursday (November 27). The press release mentioned that according to the Companies Act, the post of a director is scheduled to fall vacant in the annual general meeting (AGM) of CSE on December 11.

Accordingly, Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury submitted his nomination as part of the election process. However, since no one else submitted it on the last day of submission of nominations, Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury was elected as a director unopposed.

The election committee formed by CSE with AKM Mohsen Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury as its chairman made this announcement. The other members of this committee are Md. Shawkat Ali Talukder and Dr. Md. Khorshed Alam Talukder.
