


Under the theme 'Local breeds, modern technology will enhance livestock', the week-long event has commenced in Lohagara, Narail.
The inauguration of the National Livestock Week and Livestock Exhibition took place on Wednesday, November 26, at approximately 10:30 am, within the premises of the Upazila Livestock Office and Veterinary Hospital.
The event was inaugurated by the chief guest, Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Abu Riyad.
Subsequently, a discussion meeting was conducted, chaired by Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Shyamal Chandra Roy and moderated by Livestock AI Technician Sarjit Kumar Tikadar. Dr. Shyamal Chandra Roy delivered the welcome address, while special guests included Lohagara Upazila Agricultural Extension Officer Sheikh Salman Zaman, Upazila Youth Development Officer Salma Zaman, Senior Journalist Rupak Mukherjee, Lohagara Press Club Convener Selim Jahangir, Social Worker Syed Khairul Alam, Lohagara Upazila Ansar and VDP Officer Rafeza Khatun, Upazila Poverty Alleviation Officer Shahana Parveen, and Farmer Md. Afsar Hossain, among others.
