A young individual was fatally stabbed in Pabna due to a longstanding conflict.

A young man named Jibon (22) was fatally stabbed due to an old conflict in Rajapur, located in the Pabna Sadar Upazila.

The incident occurred near the Calico Cotton Mill at approximately 10:30 pm on Friday. According to police and local sources, the victim, Jibon, was the son of Sujan from Rajapur village in the Dogachhi union of Pabna Sadar Upazila.

Authorities reported that Jibon was ambushed by his assailants on Friday night as a result of a long-standing dispute. The attackers stabbed him, causing severe injuries, and then fled the scene. Local residents attempted to assist him and transport him to the hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries en route.

After being informed of the incident, police arrived at the location. They recovered the body of the deceased and transported it to the morgue at Pabna General Hospital for an autopsy. Law enforcement stated that they are actively working to identify and apprehend those responsible for the murder.
