A public reception was held in honor of Khurshid Alam Moti, the President of Fulbari Upazila BNP, for reclaiming his position.
The event took place on Wednesday evening at the local Nimtala intersection, organized by the Upazila BNP. The reception was chaired by Nabiul Islam, Senior Vice President of Upazila BNP and UP Chairman, and featured special guests including Banister AKM Kamruzzaman Zaman, Legal Advisor to UK BNP Vice President and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, along with former Mayor of Phulbari Municipality, Mahmud Alam Liton.
Speeches were delivered by Municipal BNP President Abul Bashar, Upazila BNP Vice President and former Upazila Vice Chairman Nazmul Haque Nazim, Vice President Abdul Majid Mandal, Organizing Secretary Zulfikar Ali, and leaders from Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, Sechchhasebak Dal, and Krishak Dal. Earlier, when Principal Khurshid Alam Moti arrived at Syedpur Airport from Dhaka at 2 pm, he was welcomed by thousands of leaders, workers, and supporters who greeted him with flowers. Following this, he was escorted to Phulbari in a large motorcycle convoy. Various individuals, including leaders and workers, exchanged floral greetings with him on an open stage at Urbasi intersection in Phulbari municipality.
The leaders and workers expressed that Principal Khurshid Alam Moti is the protector of Phulbari Upazila BNP, noting that they felt abandoned without his leadership after his ousting, and now they have regained their protector after a prolonged absence.
Additionally, a large number of ordinary citizens from various backgrounds also attended the event. They remarked that Principal Khurshid Alam Moti is not just a BNP leader, but also a guardian for the common people in this area. They had been without a guardian for an extended period, and now they have their protector back.
