


A tragic murder occurred in the Enayet Bazar Kasai Para area of Chattogram city, where a 26-year-old youth, Akash Ghosh, was stabbed to death during an altercation over a small monetary debt. The incident took place around 1 am on Thursday (November 13).
According to family sources, the dispute arose when a local youth named Sunny failed to pay Akash Ghosh for changing his mobile phone display. Akash, a resident of Goalpara Pukurpar, approached Sunny to demand the unpaid money late Thursday night.
The confrontation quickly escalated. Sunny, along with "some others," attacked Akash, who was stabbed multiple times. Locals found Akash in serious condition and rushed him to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH), where the doctor on duty pronounced him dead. The accused, Sunny, is reported to be a local youth of the Enayet Bazar area.
The Kotwali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Karim confirmed that a swift drive has been initiated immediately following the incident. He assured that efforts are underway to identify and arrest all individuals involved in the murder, guaranteeing that those responsible "will be brought to justice soon."
