A guardian meeting was held at the historic Itna Secondary School and College in Lohagara upazila of Narail to discuss ways to improve the quality of education and create a better learning environment for students.
The meeting was held on Sunday (September 6) on the institution’s premises, with Sardar Tanzir Hossain Tanu, chairman of the institution’s governing body, in the chair.
Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer S.M. Mustafizur Rahman attended the meeting as the chief guest, while Lohagara Upazila Secondary Education Officer Muhammad Anwar Hossain was present as a special guest.
Speaking at the event, UNO S.M. Mustafizur Rahman stressed the importance of cooperation among teachers, students and guardians.
“With the sincere efforts of teachers, guardians and students, this institution can become one of the best educational institutions. Teachers must be sincere and dedicated in conducting classes.”
Guardians Urged to Be More Involved
Sardar Tanzir Hossain Tanu, chairman of the governing body, urged parents to become more conscious of their children’s education and academic progress.
“Guardians need to be more aware. If teachers treat students like their own children, the educational environment will change.”
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between teachers and guardians, improving classroom teaching and encouraging greater parental involvement in students’ academic development.
Acting Principal Sanjib Kumar Saha, Assistant Professor Sheikh Nazmul Hasan, governing body member Biplab Hossain, teachers, students, guardians and local dignitaries were also present.
