"Partner Field School Congress" Held in Laxmipur

A "Partner Field School Congress" was held in Laxmipur to introduce farmers to modern and sustainable agricultural technology. The event organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension, Laxmipur Sadar took place Thursday at the Sadar Upazila Parishad auditorium.

Deputy Director Tahir Ahmed attended as chief guest with Agriculturists Md. Mujibur Rahman Hossain and Saiful Islam as special guests. Agriculturist Md. Saiful Islam presided over the session.

The congress brought together farmers and agriculture professionals to discuss modern farming techniques improved cultivation methods of safe food production and the exchange of practical experiences among farmers.

Speakers stressed the need for greater farmer training and wider use of modern technology at the field level to boost productivity and profitability in agriculture. They also urged farmers to adopt environmentally friendly practices to ensure safe food production.

Agriculture Department officials, field workers, farmers and other stakeholders attended the event which concluded with participants receiving information and guidance on agricultural best practices.
