In the latest Champions League fixtures, Liverpool secured a crucial 1-0 victory against Inter Milan despite the highly publicized absence of forward Mohamed Salah. Elsewhere, Bayern Munich and Barcelona celebrated comeback wins, while Chelsea suffered a late defeat.

Liverpool 1-0 Inter Milan: Dominik Szoboszlai scored an 88th-minute penalty after Alessandro Bastoni was penalized for tugging a shirt in the box, earning a vital win for Arne Slot's team.

Salah was absent following public criticism of the club. The win boosts Liverpool to eighth place, putting them back in contention for a Round of 16 spot. A Liverpool goal by Konate was ruled out for a handball by Van Dijk earlier in the sequence.

Bayern Munich 3-1 Sporting Lisbon: Bayern rallied after an own-goal by Joshua Kimmich gave Sporting the lead. 17-year-old Lennart Karl scored his third Champions League goal in four games with an audacious volley, contributing to a 12-minute, three-goal turnaround. Serge Gnabry and Jonathan Tah also scored. Alphonso Davies played his first game since March after a serious knee injury.

Atalanta 2-1 Chelsea: Chelsea lost its first Champions League match in nearly three months. Charles De Ketelaere scored the 83rd-minute winner and assisted Gianluca Scamacca's equalizer after Chelsea took the lead through Joao Pedro. Chelsea dropped to 11th.

Barcelona 2-1 Eintracht Frankfurt: Barcelona overturned a 21st-minute deficit with two quick headers by Jules Koundé (50th and 53rd minute). Lamine Yamal's assist on the second goal brought his career combined Champions League goals and assists to 14, breaking the record for a player aged under 19, previously held by Kylian Mbappe.

Tottenham beat Slavia Prague 3-0. Atletico Madrid secured a 3-2 comeback win over PSV Eindhoven. Marseille edged Union Saint-Gilloise 3-2. Monaco defeated Galatasaray 1-0. Olympiakos won 1-0 against Kairat Almaty.
