Tarique Rahman to Lead BNP Press Conference After Landslide Victory

BNP has called a press conference after winning the 13th parliamentary election with an absolute majority. The post-election press conference will be held at the ballroom of the Intercontinental Hotel in the capital at 3 pm on Saturday (February 14).

BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed this information.

He said that BNP will give a formal response to the election at the press conference. Party chairman Tarique Rahman will address the press conference.

Party sources said that he will give important directions on the election results, preparations for government formation, possible alliance politics and future work plans.

Meanwhile, Tarique Rahman stayed at his office in Gulshan for a long time until late on Friday. During this time, party leaders met and exchanged greetings with him.

Party sources said that Tarique Rahman held meetings on the formation of a new government. Leaders and activists also gathered in front of the BNP chairman's office until late at night.
