Rosatom Chief Meets Prime Minister Tarique Rahman

Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation (Rosatom) Director General Alexey Likhachev paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Tuesday morning.

The meeting took place at 10:00 AM at the Prime Minister’s Office in the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat. Discussions reportedly centered on bilateral cooperation in the energy sector and the progress of ongoing nuclear projects.

High-ranking officials in attendance included Foreign Minister Dr. Khalilur Rahman and Minister for Science, Technology, and ICT Fakir Mahabub Anam Swapan. They were joined by ministerial advisor Rehan Asif Asad and the Russian Ambassador to Dhaka, Alexander Grigorievich Khojin.
