PM’s Delegation Meets Outgoing Principal Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus

A high-level delegation representing Prime Minister Tarique Rahman paid a courtesy call on the outgoing Principal Advisor of the interim government, Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, on Saturday.

The meeting took place at 3:00 pm at 'Jamuna,' the Principal Advisor's official residence on Minto Road, as Dr. Yunus was preparing to depart the premises.

The three-member delegation was led by the Prime Minister’s Defense Advisor, Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. AKM Shamsul Islam. Other members of the delegation included ABM Abdus Sattar, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Major General Abul Hasnat Mohammad Tariq, Military Secretary to the Prime Minister.

The meeting marks a formal transition following the conclusion of the interim government's tenure.
