49-Member Cabinet Set to Take Oath Under Tarique Rahman

The elected members of the BNP, which won an absolute victory in the 13th National Parliament election, took oath as members of parliament on Tuesday morning. The new cabinet members will take oath at the South Plaza of the National Parliament Building in the afternoon.

Of these, 25 will be full ministers and 24 will be sworn in as state ministers. The new cabinet of 50 members is being formed under the leadership of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.

The ministers who have been called up are Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Salahuddin Ahmed, Iqbal Hasan Mahmud, Hafiz Uddin Ahmed, Abu Zafar Md. Zahid, Abdul Awal Mintu, Kazi Shah Mofazzal Hossain Kaikobad, Mizanur Rahman Minu, Nitai Roy Chowdhury, Khandaker Abdul Muktadir, Ariful Haque Chowdhury, Zahir Uddin Swapan, Afroza Khanam Rita, Asadul Habib Dulu, Md. Shahid Uddin Chowdhury, Md. Asaduzzaman, Zakaria Taher, Dipen Dewan, ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon, Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid, Khalilur Rahman, Sardar Sakhawat Hossain, Fakir Mahbub Anam and Sheikh Rabiul Alam have been called to take oath as ministers. Among them, Mohammad Amin Ur Rashid and Khalilur Rahman will take oath as technocrat ministers.

M Rashiduzzaman Millat, Anindya Islam (Amit), Shariful Alam, Shama Obaid, Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Barrister Kaiser Kamal, Farhad Hossain Azad, Aminul Haque (Technocrat), Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, Habibur Rashid, Md. Rajib Ahsan, Md. Abdul Bari, Mir Shahe Alam, Jonayed Saki, Zakaria Taher (Sumon), Ishraq Hossain, Farzana Sharmin Putul, Sheikh Faridul Islam, Nurul Haque Noor, Yaser Khan Chowdhury, M Iqbal Hossain, M A Muhith, Mohammad Sohel Manjur, Bobby Hajjaj and Ali Newaz Mahmud Khayyam.
