


A campaign meeting was held at the Bangladesh Consulate in Dubai on Monday (December 8) to encourage expatriate Bangladeshis in the UAE to exercise their voting rights, particularly through the use of postal ballots. A large number of expatriates attended the event.

Bangladesh Embassy Abu Dhabi Ambassador Tarek Ahmed. Labor Councilor Abdus Salam provided a step-by-step explanation of the voting procedure for expatriates, including the use of postal ballots, required documents, and the application process.
Consul General Md. Rasheduzzaman affirmed the Consulate's commitment to providing "maximum cooperation" and necessary information to ensure the protection and participation of expatriates' voting rights.
Ambassador Tarek Ahmed highlighted the important contribution of expatriates to the country's development and economy, emphasizing the great importance being given to them exercising their right to vote.
Expatriates asked numerous questions concerning postal ballots, registration complications, documentation, and deadlines, which were addressed by the organizers.
Speakers urged the expatriates to participate consciously and actively and mentioned that related information is regularly updated on the verified social media pages of the embassies and consulates.
