The global music industry is buzzing as BTS officially confirms their reunion and the release of a new album on March 20, 2026.

This marks the group's first collective project since the 2022 anthology Proof, ending a nearly four-year hiatus during which all seven members completed their mandatory South Korean military service.

A Personal Announcement: Before the official BigHit Music statement, members sent handwritten letters to fans' homes featuring the date "2026.3.20."

Member Messages: RM expressed a desperate anticipation for the reunion. Jin shared his joy in returning as a teammate rather than a soloist. J-Hope and Jungkook relayed their excitement to be back with the "ARMY" (the BTS fan base).

The First Sighting: The group held a surprise New Year’s countdown on Weverse, marking their first full-group appearance in years.

What's Next: While the album title and concept are currently secret, industry insiders expect a 2026 World Tour announcement to follow shortly after the March release.
