Dhallywood actress Farin Khan has finally addressed the long-standing rumors regarding her collaboration with Kolkata superstar Dev. In a recent interview, the Dhitang Dhitang star confirmed that she was officially selected for the film Cockpit after a successful audition in Kolkata, a role that eventually went to Rukmini Maitra.

Farin explained that personal reasons forced her to take a career break, causing her to miss out on becoming the first Bangladeshi artist in Dev’s production house.

The actress also expressed deep frustration over four to five of her completed projects—featuring co-stars like Shipon Mitra, Roshan, and Tanvir—which remain unreleased despite being dubbed and censored.

Farin admitted that these setbacks, along with the unfulfilled buzz surrounding her potential casting in Agni 3, significantly impacted her mental well-being and altered her career trajectory.
