Hasan Ahmed, the Insaniyat Biplob candidate for Feni-3 (Sonagazi-Daganbhuiyan), unveiled his party's election manifesto Monday, calling for a "state of humanity" to replace what he described as a cycle of single-party autocracy and political violence.
Speaking at a press conference in Daganbhuiyan, Ahmed, who is campaigning under the apple symbol, outlined a vision for a non-communal, modern government that prioritizes equal security and rights for citizens of all faiths. He argued that the current political landscape is marred by extremism and corruption, which he identified as the primary causes of the nation's economic and social crises.
"Our goal is to protect the lives and livelihoods of all people from the tyranny of any single group," Ahmed said. "The only path out of this destructive darkness is a politics of humanity that represents every citizen."
The candidate also urged election officials and law enforcement to ensure a free and fair environment for the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections. He was joined at the event by local party leaders, including Feni District and Daganbhuiyan Upazila President Mosharraf Hossain Masud.
