Two Arrested with Escuf and Marijuana in Bheramara

Police arrested two men and seized illegal drugs, including 134 bottles of Escuf syrup and 4 kilograms of marijuana, during a raid in the Kazihata area of Bheramara, Kushtia, on Wednesday morning.

Acting on a tip-off, officers from the Bheramara Police Station conducted the operation. The arrestees were identified as Mahabul Mondal, 32, son of Olil Mondal, and Habu Hossain, 45, son of the late Khalil Mondal, both residents of Kazihata. Police also seized two motorcycle storage trunks used to transport the contraband.

Bheramara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jahedur Rahman confirmed the arrests. He stated that cases have been filed against the accused under relevant narcotics laws, and both individuals have been forwarded to the court.
