A significant meeting of the District Coordination Committee was held in Gopalganj to ensure the effective and successful implementation of the Family Card Program. The meeting focused on reviewing the overall progress of the initiative, strengthening implementation strategies, and enhancing coordination among the relevant government departments.

The meeting took place on June 10, 2026, at the "Swachhata" Conference Room of the Deputy Commissioner's Office in Gopalganj. It was chaired by Mr. Md. Arif-Uz-Zaman, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate of Gopalganj.

During the meeting, participants discussed various aspects of the Family Card Program in detail. Key issues included beneficiary selection, verification of information, monitoring field-level activities, and ensuring that the benefits of the program reach the intended recipients effectively. The committee also exchanged views on identifying potential challenges and finding practical solutions to overcome them.

In his remarks, Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Mr. Md. Arif-Uz-Zaman emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability, and proper implementation of the Family Card Program. He called upon all concerned departments to work collaboratively to achieve the program's objectives.

Among those present at the meeting were Mr. Md. Habibullah, Superintendent of Police, Gopalganj; the Additional Deputy Commissioner (General); the District Social Services Officer; and other relevant government officials. The participants shared updates from their respective departments and provided recommendations to further improve the implementation process.

At the conclusion of the meeting, emphasis was placed on maintaining strong interdepartmental coordination and continuing collective efforts to ensure the successful execution of the Family Card Program across the district.
