A three-day “Land Service Fair-2026” will be held at district and upazila levels in Faridpur from May 19 to 21 to promote citizen-friendly and digital land management.
The Ministry of Land is organizing the fair as part of the implementation of the current government’s election manifesto commitments. A press briefing on the event was held by the district administration.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Mintu Biswas said the fair aims to provide easy, transparent and digital land services directly to citizens while increasing public awareness about online land services.
Visitors will receive various services, including assistance with registration on the land.gov.bd portal for online land development tax payments, submission of e-registration applications, access to e-porcha and mouza maps, online collection of DCR and Khatian documents, and certified copies of Khatians.
Services related to land acquisition compensation checks and land development tax payments will also be available.
Citizens will also be informed about the Ministry of Land’s “Land Service Support Center” (LSFC) and the call center hotline service, 16122.
Five service stalls have been set up at the Deputy Commissioner’s office premises for the fair. These include stalls from the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Zonal Settlement Office, Upazila Land Office, Municipal Land Office and the Land Service Support Center. Officials at the stalls will provide on-the-spot advice and services.
Mintu Biswas said the initiative was taken to make digital land services more accessible and improve transparency and efficiency in land management so people can receive services without unnecessary harassment.
Faridpur District Administration RDC Insana Tanjin Eco was also present at the press briefing.
