


Leaders of the Pabna Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) met President Md. Sahabuddin on Monday to discuss regional economic development and employment.
A 17-member delegation, led by PCCI President Md. Forkan Reza Biswas Badsha and Director ABM Fazlur Rahman, paid a courtesy call on the President at the Pabna Circuit House in the afternoon.
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the President on the chamber's current activities, highlighting a major initiative aimed at creating 5,000 new jobs within Pabna district.
President Sahabuddin expressed satisfaction with the organization's efforts and urged the business leaders to further utilize Pabna’s local resources and economic potential to drive growth.
The PCCI delegation included Senior Vice President Alhaj Faridul Islam, Vice President Alhaj Rasheduzazzaman Rashed, and several directors, including Harun Ur Rashid, Sheikh Ratan, and Zahid Hossain Jamim.
The President’s Military Secretary Major General ASM Bahauddin, Press Secretary Sarwar Alam, and Private Secretary Didarul Islam were also present.
The President is currently on a four-day visit to his home district, which began on March 28. Earlier that day, he met with a delegation of journalists led by Ishwardi Press Club President Abdul Mannan Tipu and inspected the construction of the Shahi Jame Mosque in Charbhavanipur.
