Kurigram District Council Bids Farewell to Administrator, Welcomes New Administrator

A formal farewell and reception ceremony was held at the Kurigram District Council auditorium on Sunday afternoon to honor the outgoing administrator and welcome the newly appointed DC.

The event marked the departure of District Council Administrator and Deputy Commissioner Annapurna Debnath, who was given a warm farewell for her service. At the same ceremony, the newly appointed District Council Administrator Sohel Hosnain Kaikobad was officially welcomed with floral greetings.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Executive Officer Firuzul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Zakir Hossain, Kurigram District BNP Convener Mostafizur Rahman, and Joint Convener Hasibur Rahman Hasib, along with other distinguished guests.

Both the outgoing and incoming administrators were honored with floral welcome by the District Council authorities.

The ceremony was also attended by Zilla Parishad officials and employees, freedom fighters of the district, and local dignitaries. The event was held in a cordial atmosphere, highlighting the importance of administrative continuity and transfer of responsibilities.
