Unidentified Elderly Man’s Body Found in Narail Garbage Dump

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified elderly man from a garbage heap in Narail Sadar upazila.

The body, believed to be of a man aged around 70, was found in the Sitarampur area on Friday afternoon.

According to police, local residents spotted the body lying in a garbage dump around 4 pm and informed Narail Sadar Police Station. A police team later went to the scene and recovered the body.

The identity of the deceased could not be confirmed immediately. Police said efforts are ongoing to identify the man.

Officer-in-Charge of Narail Sadar Police Station, Md. Oli Mia, said the cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.
