Eid Cash Gifts Given to 565 People in Paikgachha

On Eid-ul-Fitr 2026, 565 poor and distressed people in Paikgachha Upazila, Khulna, received 1,000 Taka each from the Honorable Prime Minister's Relief and Welfare Fund.

The distribution was conducted on behalf of National Parliament Member Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (Khulna-6).

The event took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Paikgachha Lona Pani Kendra auditorium. Recipients came from 10 unions and the municipal council of Paikgachha.

The program was presided over by Upazila Amir Maulana Saidur Rahman. Speeches were delivered by Upazila Nayeb Amir Maulana Bul Bul Ahmed, while other attendees included District Senior Nayeb Amir Maulana Golam Sarwar, District Executive Committee Member Maulana Aminul Islam, District Member Sheikh Kamal Hossain, Assistant Professor Momin Uddin Sana, and officials from the Upazila Project Implementation Office. Local leaders and community representatives were also present.

The initiative aims to support vulnerable residents during the festive season and ensure relief reaches those in need.
