Residents of Banshbaria Union in Muksudpur upazila of Gopalganj formed a human chain demanding justice for the killing of Siam Molla.

The protest was organized by local residents of Banshbaria village, who called on authorities to quickly arrest those involved in the murder and ensure exemplary punishment.

Men and women from different walks of life joined the demonstration, expressing grief and anger over the incident. Participants said the brutal killing has shocked the entire community and created fear among residents.

They urged law enforcement agencies to conduct a proper investigation and bring all those responsible to justice.

During the programme, the victim’s father gave an emotional speech. “I work abroad. In my absence, my son was brutally killed. There was no one to protect him. I want justice for my son,” he said.

Local residents alleged that several individuals, including Sajid, Abhi and Parvez, were involved in the incident. They demanded their immediate arrest and called on the administration to ensure the highest punishment under the law.

Speakers at the human chain warned that if swift justice is not ensured, such crimes may increase and create insecurity in society.

Residents also said they would announce stronger protest programmes in the coming days if authorities fail to take prompt action in the Siam Molla murder case.
