Unidentified Man Found Hanging from Tree in Chattogram

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified man found hanging from a tree in the Patenga area of Chattogram city.

The body was discovered around 12 p.m. on Sunday (October 19) near the Khejurtola Point area, according to police sources.

Kazi Muhammad Sultan Ahsan Uddin, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Patenga Police Station, said the deceased is believed to be around 35 years old, but his identity has not yet been determined.

“Locals spotted the body hanging from the tree and immediately informed the police. The body has been sent to the Chattogram Medical College morgue for autopsy,” the OC said, adding that efforts are underway to identify the man and determine the cause of death.
