Police arrested a man named Sohel Rana on Tuesday afternoon for manufacturing illegal election seals at a printing shop in Lakshmipur.

Acting on a tip-off, Executive Magistrate Hasan Mahmud Nahid led a raid on "Mariam Printers" near Jubilee Dighi. During the operation, officials seized six unauthorized 16-cell vote seals and a computer used in their production.

The magistrate confirmed that producing such seals is entirely illegal. Following the raid, Sohel Rana admitted to receiving an order for the seals from an undisclosed individual.

He was taken into custody by Lakshmipur Sadar Police, and authorities confirmed that a regular case is being filed against him.
