Horrific fire in Sagarika, Chattogram

A horrific fire broke out in the Sagarika Mor area of ​​Chattogram. The fire broke out around 4 pm on Sunday (February 1). Within moments, the flames spread in all directions and several shops were burnt down.

Eyewitnesses said that the area suddenly became dark due to the smoke of the fire. Within a short time, the fire increased in intensity and spread to the neighboring shops. The affected traders claimed that the goods in the shops were completely burnt down.

A unit of the Fire Service quickly reached the spot after receiving the news. Two more units joined later as the intensity of the fire was high. Currently, a total of three units of the Fire Service are working to control the fire. Local residents are also cooperating with the Fire Service in extinguishing the fire.

The exact cause of the fire is not yet known. The Fire Service said that they are making every effort to bring the fire under control. The extent of the damage is not known as of the latest reports, but traders fear major financial losses.
