The US Embassy and Youth Voice of Bangladesh (YVB) held a productive meeting in Chattogram (Chittagong) to explore avenues for future collaboration centered on youth empowerment.
Eric Gillan, Political Economic Counselor of the US Embassy, met with Barrister Tarek Akbar Khondaker, Chairman of YVB, at the Hotel Radisson Blu. The discussion focused on YVB's current activities, future objectives, and potential joint initiatives.
Mr. Gillan commended Barrister Khondaker's leadership and the crucial role YVB plays in engaging Bangladeshi youth. He specifically indicated that the US Embassy is keen on partnering with YVB on programs related to leadership development, youth-focused events, and policy dialogue. The meeting, which also included US Embassy Political Specialist Firoz Ahmed and YVB founding members, is expected to be a catalyst for stronger mutual cooperation and the exchange of development ideas.
