Typhoid Vaccination Campaign Launched in Nilphamari

In line with the nationwide initiative, the typhoid vaccination campaign was officially launched in Nilphamari on Sunday morning. The program was inaugurated by District Commissioner Md. Nairuzzaman.

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Government Boys High School hall under the organization of the Civil Surgeon’s Office. Among those present were Additional District Commissioner (Revenue) Md. Saidul Islam, District Education Officer Hafizur Rahman, Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration & Finance) Md. Mohsin, and Assistant Director of Family Planning Md. Abdul Mannan, along with heads and representatives of various institutions.

Under this campaign, all children aged 9 months to 15 years, as well as students from pre-primary to grade nine or equivalent, will receive one dose of the typhoid vaccine free of cost.
