New Riverghat Road Eases Travel Woes in Rangamati's Baghaichhari

The Riverghat Post Road under 27 BGB Marishya Zone was formally inaugurated in Baghaichhari, Rangamati, Thursday expected to ease long-standing travel difficulties for local residents.

The road was inaugurated at a ceremony in the Chaumuhani area by Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Zahidul Islam Zahid, PSC. Baghaichhari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Amena Marjan, Deputy Zone Commander Major M. Shahinur Rahman and Officer-in-Charge Nasir Uddin Majumder also attended.

Chaumuhani Jame Masjid Committee President Abul Kashem, General Secretary Sirajul Islam, BGB officials, local media personnel and community figures were present at the event.

Locals said the new road will significantly improve communication in the remote area, making daily travel and activities easier for residents. They expect the road to bring lasting positive change to the region's overall connectivity.
