The second edition of the Axentec Presents FICCI Football Tournament 2026 concluded on Friday with a vibrant grand finale celebrating teamwork and corporate sportsmanship in Bangladesh.

Organized by Nutmeg under the banner of the Foreign Investors’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), the tournament featured 20 leading multinational and corporate teams competing across 50 matches.

The day kicked off with the Plate Final, where Standard Chartered Bank faced Chevron Bangladesh in a tightly contested match. After a 1-1 draw in regulation time—with goals from Turjo for Standard Chartered and Ashik for Chevron—Standard Chartered Bank emerged victorious in a dramatic sudden-death penalty shootout to claim the Plate title. Standard Chartered's Turjo was named Player of the Match.

Robi Axiata PLC ultimately held their nerve in the ensuing tiebreaker to secure the championship title. Robi's Shakib clinched the Player of the Match award for his standout performance.

DHL Express Bangladesh dominated the individual stats, with Shahinur finishing as the tournament’s top scorer with 10 goals, and teammate Shaikat earning the Player of the Tournament award. Robi’s Musabbir was named Best Goalkeeper for his crucial saves throughout the competition, while LafargeHolcim Bangladesh took home the Fair Play Trophy.

The tournament concluded with an official prize-giving ceremony attended by corporate leaders, tournament organizers, and participating teams.
