Leaders of the Jubo League hoisted national and party flags at the Faridpur District Awami League office on Friday morning, despite the office being officially banned from operating.

The incident took place around 7:30am at the Awami League office near Kotwali Police Station, locally known as Thana More.

A 45-second video of the event has since gone viral on social media.

The footage shows former Faridpur City Jubo League General Secretary Asibur Rahman Farhan, District Jubo League member Himel Mahafuz, former District Chhatra League Vice President Kawsar Akand, and District Chhatra League Vice President and Jubo League leader Debashish Nayan hoisting the flags.

During the act, they were heard chanting political slogans, including “Joy Bangla” and “Joy Bangabandhu”.

There was no immediate official response from local authorities regarding the incident at the time of filing this report.
