A video showing Chhatra League activists hoisting a flag at the abandoned Pabna District Awami League office has gone viral on social media after 18 months.

The video, posted on Facebook at 10 am on Friday by Mizanur Rahman Sabuj, president of the banned Pabna District Chhatra League, shows six youths raising a Chhatra League flag and chanting slogans in front of the office. The slogans mention party chief Sheikh Hasina and Mizanur Rahman Sabuj.

The video quickly drew widespread attention online.

Earlier, four women and two children, claiming to be children of freedom fighters, hoisted the national flag at the same office. The video, uploaded under the Facebook ID Md. Sumon Hossain, showed them singing the national anthem and was widely shared.

Regarding the incident, Pabna Additional Superintendent of Police Mashiur Rahman Mondal said he contacted the OC of Pabna Sadar Police Station after reviewing the video. However, repeated calls to OC Dulal Hossain went unanswered.

The video has sparked discussions on Facebook and other social media platforms.
