In a heartfelt statement shared on his verified social media profile today, Tarique Rahman thanked the various state bodies not merely as institutions, but as individuals who showed empathy and professionalism during a period of national mourning. He specifically lauded the Bangladesh Army, Navy, and Air Force for their diligence in maintaining order and dignity throughout the funeral proceedings.

Security & Law Enforcement: He thanked the Home Adviser’s office, Police, BGB, RAB, and Ansar for managing the millions of mourners who gathered to pay their respects, ensuring their safety and a peaceful environment.

Civil Administration & Coordination: Recognition was given to the National Security Adviser’s office, the SSF, and various ministries—including Housing, Information, and Religious Affairs—for their seamless coordination of the event.
