BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Thursday outlined a vision for a "safe Bangladesh" where every citizen, regardless of age or gender, can live and move without fear.
Addressing a massive public reception in Purbachal’s 300 Feet area, Tarique emphasized that his party’s primary goal is to create a nation where mothers no longer worry about the safety of their children. "In such a country, whether it is a woman, a man, or a child, anyone who steps out of home should be able to return home safely," he told the cheering crowd.
The event, held at the July 36 Expressway, saw a massive turnout of party activists and supporters. Tarique Rahman arrived at the venue around 3:50 pm to a thunderous welcome, signaling a significant show of strength for the BNP.
