


On the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election, BNP nominated candidate for Dinajpur-5 constituency Barrister AKM Kamruzzaman Zaman collected nomination papers from the election office in Phulbari, Dinajpur.
On Monday (December 15) afternoon, Phulbari Upazila BNP Publicity Secretary Ashraful Islam Murad collected the nomination papers on behalf of Barrister AKM Kamruzzaman Zaman from Assistant Returning Officer and Upazila Executive Officer Hasan.
BNP nominated candidate for Dinajpur-5 constituency Barrister AKM Kamruzzaman Zaman is the legal advisor to Tarique Rahman, the vice-president of UK BNP and the acting chairman of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). Upazila BNP Publicity Secretary Ashraful Islam Murad collected the nomination papers on behalf of him.
Upazila Election Officer Abdus Chamad, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Phulbari Police Station Abdul Latif and others were present at the time.
Upazila Election Officer Abdus Chamad said that the 13th National Parliament election will be held on February 12 as per the schedule. At the same time, a referendum will be held on the 'July National Charter: Constitutional Reform Implementation Order, 2025'. The last date for filing nomination papers is December 29. The selection of nomination papers will continue from December 30 to January 4. The last date for withdrawal of candidacy is January 20 and the symbol will be allotted on January 21.
He also said that Barrister AKM Kamruzzaman Zaman has collected the first nomination papers for this constituency.
